Hrnčíře is situated in the southern part of the municipal district Prague-Šeberov. It is not a continuous development with the original Šeberov - both main parts are about 700 m from each other. In Hrnčíře many new houses have been built in recent years, in particular on the east and south edge. From the point of view of built-up area, Hrnčíře is now larger than the original Šeberov.
